Februar 2025 fand ein informatives Zoom-Meeting zum Thema Chronischer Bienenparalysevirus (CBPV) statt. Die Veranstaltung wurde von der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imkerbund.at\/imkerinnen-fuer-imkerinnen+2500+1143881\">Initiative Imkerinnen f\u00fcr Imkerinnen<\/a> des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imkerbund.at\/\">\u00f6sterreichischen Imkerbundes (\u00d6IB)<\/a> organisiert. Der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imkerbund.at\/\">\u00d6IB<\/a> verfolgt mit dieser Initiative das Ziel den Anteil an Imkerinnen und Funktion\u00e4rinnen zu erh\u00f6hen.\u00a0 Etwa 170 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer &#8211; vermutlich \u00fcberwiegend Imkerinnen und Imker &#8211; folgten der Einladung.<\/p>\n<h3>Einleitende Worte vom Pr\u00e4sidenten des \u00d6sterreichischen Imkerbundes<\/h3>\n<p>Zu Beginn begr\u00fc\u00dfte der Pr\u00e4sident des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imkerbund.at\/\">\u00d6sterreichischen Imkerbundes<\/a>, Herr Ing. Reinhard Hetzenauer, die Teilnehmer und betonte, dass Frau Daniela Schmidt, Ansprechpartnerin f\u00fcr Frauen in der Imkerei, mit dem heutigen CBPV-Vortrag ein besonders aktuelles Problem der Imkerei ausgew\u00e4hlt habe.<\/p>\n<h3>Vortrag von Dr. Hemma K\u00f6glberger<\/h3>\n<p>Anschlie\u00dfend \u00fcbernahm Frau Dr. Hemma K\u00f6glberger von der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ages.at\/\">\u00d6sterreichischen Agentur f\u00fcr Gesundheit und Ern\u00e4hrungssicherheit GmbH (AGES)<\/a> das Wort und gab einen detaillierten \u00dcberblick \u00fcber die biologischen Grundlagen des CBPV.<\/p>\n<h4>CBPV-Grundlagen<\/h4>\n<p>Bisher sind ca. 23 unterschiedliche Bienenviren beschrieben. Diese sind nur unter dem Elektronenmikroskop sichtbar. Einige der Bienenviren sind bereits \u00fcber PCR-Tests nachweisbar. \u00a0W\u00e4hrend die \u00fcbrigen Viren sechseckige, symmetrische Partikel sind, ist der CBPV-Virus sehr unregelm\u00e4\u00dfig und keiner Familie zuzuordnen.<\/p>\n<p>Frau Dr. K\u00f6glberger erl\u00e4uterte die \u00dcbertragungswege, Symptome und Diagnosem\u00f6glichkeiten. <strong>Besonders besorgniserregend sei, dass das Virus oft unbemerkt in V\u00f6lkern vorhanden sei (5-10% aller Bienenv\u00f6lker sind CBPV-positiv) und erst in Stresssituationen ausbreche.<\/strong> Ab Erreichen einer Schadensschwelle von 100 Millionen Kopien\/Biene gilt ein Bienenvolk als krank. Bei 30. Milliarden Kopien\/Biene zeigt ein Bienenvolk dann bereits deutliche Krankheitssymptome. <strong>Die Beobachtungen zeigen, dass die CBPV-F\u00e4lle in der letzten Zeit angestiegen sind. Die Ursachen hierf\u00fcr sind noch unklar.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>CBPV bef\u00e4llt die erwachsene Biene und wird \u00fcber die Oberfl\u00e4che der Bienen (Kontakt zwischen den Bienen) weitergegeben. Die Varroamilbe spielt bei der CBPV-Infektion keine Rolle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Symptome<\/h4>\n<p>Bei einem erkrankten Volk zeigt sich die Chronische Bienenparalyse mit zwei Hauptsymptomen: der <strong>Schwarzsucht<\/strong> (haarlose, schwarze und kleiner erscheinende Bienen) und der <strong>Paralyse<\/strong> (zitternde Bienen mit aufgebl\u00e4htem Hinterleib, Krabbler am Boden). Weitere Symptome sind ein erh\u00f6hter bzw. massenhafter Totenfall (Bienenteppich), K\u00e4mpfe am Flugloch (kranke Bienen werden attackiert), aufgedrehte Fl\u00fcgel (K-wings genannt) und durchfallartiges Abkoten. Leider besteht bei diesen Symptome auch Verwechslungsm\u00f6glichkeit mit anderen Bienenkrankheiten (schwarze, haarlose Bienen treten auch bei Waldtracht und R\u00e4uberei auf, ein aufgebl\u00e4hter Hinterleib k\u00f6nnte auch eine Nosemose sein und verdrehte Fl\u00fcgel werden auch durch die Tracheenmilbe verursacht).<\/p>\n<h4>Krankheitsverlauf<\/h4>\n<p>Eine CBP-Erkrankung kann w\u00e4hrend der ganzen Bienensaison auftreten. Der Krankheitsverlauf reicht von Selbstheilung bis zum Tod eines Bienenvolkes bei einem sehr schweren Verlauf. Oftmals sind auch nur einzelne V\u00f6lker eines Bienenstandes befallen.<\/p>\n<p>Folgende Faktoren f\u00f6rdern den Stress der Bienen und damit den Ausbruch der Krankheit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Schlechtwetterperioden (enger Bienenkontakt, Futterstress)<\/li>\n<li>zu viele Bienenv\u00f6lker am Stand oder im Flugkreis<\/li>\n<li>starker Varroabefall<\/li>\n<li>Weisellosigkeit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Prophylaxe<\/h4>\n<p>Die Bienen sollen einerseits vor CBP-Viren gesch\u00fctzt werden (Expositionsprophylaxe) und andererseits gegen\u00fcber den CBP-Viren gest\u00e4rkt werden (Dispositionsprophylaxe). Folgende Ma\u00dfnahmen gegen eine CBP-Erkrankung leiten sich daraus ab:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>gut f\u00fcttern<\/li>\n<li>Varroadruck senken<\/li>\n<li>V\u00f6lkeranzahl anpassen<\/li>\n<li>besseren Stand ausw\u00e4hlen<\/li>\n<li>die erkrankten Bienen aus den V\u00f6lkern bringen (z.B.: durch Einsatz der Ameisens\u00e4ure, dem Fluglingsverfahren oder dem Abkehrverfahren)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Noch besser ist es aber, bereits entsprechend vorzubeugen.\u00a0 Vorbeugende Ma\u00dfnahmen w\u00e4ren:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ein bienenfreundlicher Standort (Futterversorgung, Kleinklima)<\/li>\n<li>eine an die \u00f6rtlichen Ressourcen angepasste V\u00f6lkerzahl<\/li>\n<li>Vermeidung von R\u00e4uberei<\/li>\n<li>Reduktion des Varroadruckes<\/li>\n<li>Vorsicht bei Zuk\u00e4ufen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Vortrag von Mag. Michaela Kohlbacher-Schneider<\/h3>\n<p>Darauf folgte der Vortrag von Frau Imkermeisterin und Wanderlehrerin Mag. Michaela Kohlbacher-Schneider, die praxisnahe Strategien zur Bek\u00e4mpfung und Vorbeugung von CBPV vorstellte. Sie ging zun\u00e4chst auf ihre Betriebsweise n\u00e4her ein. Danach berichtete sie von ihren eigenen Erfahrungen mit CBPV-befallenen Bienenv\u00f6lkern. Zus\u00e4tzlich zu den Informationen von Fr. Dr. K\u00f6glberger berichtet Fr. Mag. Kohlbacher-Schneider von einem sehr ausgepr\u00e4gten Putzverhalten der CBPV-erkrankten Bienen. Diese Bienen putzen sich st\u00e4ndig und benutzen ihren Stachel nicht mehr, wenn sie gest\u00f6rt werden. Als weiteren Stressfaktor f\u00fcr die Bienen, der dann auch zum Ausbruch der CBPV f\u00fchren kann, nennt Frau Mag. Kohlbacher-Schneider Ameisen, die sich gerne in Bienenst\u00f6cken ansiedeln.<\/p>\n<h3>Res\u00fcmee<\/h3>\n<p>Die Vortr\u00e4ge von beiden Damen waren sehr lehrreich. <strong>Ein herzliches Dankesch\u00f6n an die beiden Vortragenden und an die Organisatoren des \u00f6sterreichische Imkerbundes.<\/strong>\u00a0 Es w\u00e4re w\u00fcnschenswert, dass solche Online-Veranstaltungen \u00f6fters stattfinden. Es gibt sicher noch gen\u00fcgend Themen, die den Imkerinnen und Imkern unter den N\u00e4geln brennen und f\u00fcr die das notwendige Wissen noch verbreitet werden muss.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br
